If you were a tall child, did you end up becoming a tall adult?

I was a very petite child (under 5th percentile for weight and height) until puberty. I’m now 5’9”. I remember crying from growing pains.

Another girl I went to school with is also 5’9” but she was always taller than everyone else and also looked more mature
.
We also had kids who were very tall at 12 but never grew beyond that height (common for girls).

I think I’d base future height on parents height more than anything else.

Welp, I was the tallest of everyone is 6th grade and a bean pole then I stopped growing up and filled out. I've been 5'7 since I was 10. Not short, but definitely not as tall as everyone thought I would be.

I was always the tallest or second tallest girl in my class. I’m 5’8”.
