My sister's husband is the best and yep, I am envious

Her husband is attractive, kind, funny, has a good job and DOES SO MUCH AROUND THE HOUSE. Super hands-on dad, cooks dinner almost every night, coaches their kids' sports, puts up with her many neurotic qualities, oh and rubs her feet every night while they watch TV! Oh and he cooks for my parents too. And is faithful.

How do some women have all the luck! Do they cast a spell!

Wow, patriarchy at its best! does your sister do none of those? Is she not an awesome spouse if she is doing pretty much the same?
Why are you praising a man for doing regular family and household chores?
Instead, your sister is neurotic, and he puts up with her! How great that you are willing to tear her down and lift him up.

Oh please. If it were my brother posting I would have believed it. And no, my husband isn't abusive and doesn't have anger issues.

I do know - he's really a kind dude.

I'm telling you, I thought the exact same thing. You honestly don't know what really goes on at someone's home.

NP. GIVE IT A REST. Some people actually are kind. Some people actually are happy.

This sounds like my DH minus the foot rubs (i hate having my feet touched) and coaching (though hes involved in a non sport activity). There are no skeletons, he really is a great guy. I chalk it up to a lot of luck.

Anyways, I've been envious of people for various reasons. I think the best thing to do is realize your envious of X results from being unhappy with X in your own life. So seems like you are a bit unhappy with your husband. Can your sit down with him and discuss him helping out more? Marriage counseling? Counseling for yourself?

Are you married OP? If not, ask your sister how to date so you can find someone similar.
