Correct. I don't want MPD flying down DC streets at 100 mph and putting pedestrian and cyclist lives at risk when they can go get these clowns later without dangerous street chases.

A lot of these idiot criminals already go flying down DC streets at 100 mph putting pedestrian and cyclist lives at risk regardless of whether they are being chased or not. "Catch them later" is fine if it can actually be done - but in so many cases it's not being done. So then instead of one incident of a lunatic flying down DC streets at 100 mph, it's MANY instances of that same, uncaught lunatic flying down DC streets at 100 mph.

The idea that DC cops are doing this seems so quaint. I'm guessing you don't actually live here. Cops here don't enforce anything. You have to do something really bad before they begin to consider possibly maybe sort of caring.
