| Were there no mall cops available? This pick does not inspire confidence |
| wtf. Do you think that the National Park Service isn't a real police force? Troll harder. |
| My experience with US Park Police has been so much more positive than other local jurisdictions. Responsive, taken seriously, and helpful. |
| I had the same thought- she doesn’t seem to have any experience leading an actual urban police force. But I’ll withhold judgment for now. |
| Not OP but in my experience the Park Police sucks. |
| People make fun of the park police but you try to confront a teenager who is fishing without a license. That shit can get tense! |
|
Check her life experience and where she is now. It’s pretty inspiring.
|
And so she’ll inspire criminals not to commit crimes? |
The vast majority of the park police are in major cities - DC, Philly, Boston. The "law enforcement rangers" in big wilderness parks are not park police. |
Oh, well, as long as she was stopping teenagers from fornicating in a park that was in a major city…. |
| The Park Police does a great job shooing people indoors when lightning is within a certain radius. I’m sure those skills carry over to policing a crime-ridden city. |
| National mall and national parks do not have homeless people because of park police. Park police pursue people. Park police do not have their hands tied by Charles Allen and gaggle of fools |
Park Police pursue and kill people and don't say anything about it for months or years. They could wear body cams, like respectable police, if they cared about being respectable. |
Patrolling Independence Hall is not the same as patrolling Kensington. |
| Such a weird pick. She seems completely unqualified |
