I hate to say this, but the only reason anyone has interest in Joe is his connection to her; his career benefitted. There is little chance anybody would know who he is, nor would paparazzi have any interest in him, and he definitely wouldn’t have a Grammy. Not that he’s untalented, but it’s an incredibly tough field and hard to stand out.

Even now, the public’s interest in how and what he’s doing is related to her.

At least for me, it's the exact same with Matty Healy. I never heard of him before Taylor Swift started seeing him.

I’ve been a The 1975 fan for a while. They are great and have received a bunch of awards in the UK. Matty Healy comes from a famous family too. They don’t need the help. These two seem to have known each other for a long time and dated a bit ten years ago. It’s not like they just met.

I don’t know what timeline we can really rely on. Midnights was always transparently a breakup album, with only one co-writing credit for Poor Joe. Who knows when they really officially broke up, and how many times they reconciled.
