No the porn stuff was brought up by podcast host Adam Friedland. He said later that he thought it was funny because of the alliteration. Nick Mullen had never heard of that porn site before and thought he made the whole thing up. Both of them doubt that Matty watches that porn and think he was just riffing on the joke. In their minds, it was “a bit.”

Again, it’s tasteless and in bad form. It’s not PC. But the way that it’s being reported - that Matty brought it up himself as an example of what he watches - is just plainly false.

No one really cared or wanted to cancel Matty until Taylor entered the puncture and her fans freaked out that she dumped Joe for this guy.

He literally relayed what happened as a story and then after the fact he said “jk it was a joke.” Also he used to be engaged to fka twigs so doesn’t seem crazy that perhaps he has some interest in interracial porno.

Just because no one knew who he was until he dated Taylor doesn’t make him uncancellabe. and most people don’t think she dumped Joe.

Can somebody please explain Matty Healy to me? I never heard of him before he was linked to Taylor. How famous is he (with whom?), what is he famous for, is he that bad? What did he do? I’m confused about how much is known about him, is it enough to judge the way people are?

Yep! Watching the epic meltdowns of her fans over silly, mostly exaggerated nonsense has been really something. Too bad Taytay can't churn out a few remixes of critical thinking skills for them.

This article is sadly probably not true. The 1975 starts their tour in a few days.
