Right wing lies. Payments for influence are legal.

It is legal for a foreign country to pay the VP of the US to get favorable policies? Really? Is their a cap on how much they can pay?

Actually it is almost certainly legal. Under McDonnell v. US, it is only illegal if the bribe is paid in exchange for an "official act" and "official act" means a "formal exercise of governmental power." Setting up a meeting or urging some other official to do something doesn't count. And since the VP has no formal power at all over foreign policy, he could not possibly have done an "official act."

Really?

He had no formal power to do that. He may have advised Obama to order it or something. But the VP can't do that on his own authority. If you think otherwise, cite the statute giving him that power.

We shall see now, won't we? And, I have heard this is part of what this whistleblower's complaint is about.

The whistleblower is a MAGA insurrectionist. Who cares what the traitor has to say?

The 1023 form being suponea by Grassley is from June 2020. Interesting timing...

Another question... why was the head of counter intelligence at the FBI in NY (Charles McGonigal) arrested in January 2023?

June 2020. Who was AG then? Who was President then?

The DOJ and FBI have long been hiding the truth and covering up for swamp... Russiagate is one of many.

Why did WaPo report yesterday that charges against Hunter are forthcoming? My theory... they want to bury these whistleblowers and make Hunter the sacrificial lamb that will be pardoned by his father.

Because he was taking money from a Russian oligarch, Oleg Deripaska, with ties to Trump and other Republicans. He was the section chief of Cyber-Counterintelligence at FBI Headquarters in 2015-2016 and spearheading the Trump-Russia investigation while Russia was trying to help Trump win via hacking.

Unlike BHR CEO Jonathan Li's connection to the "big guy", you can't cite these "ties". Nice try though

The whistleblower has not been identified. What you are reporting is speculation, at best.

Whatever it is, it isn’t a whistleblower.

Then, call the person a "Truth teller." Whoever he/she is, the left is in a bit of a panic about it.

I didn’t think I had to because it’s so obvious. Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort owed Deripaska $10 million but was working for the Trump campaign for free and offering Deripaska private briefings.

Additionally, Mitch McConnell blocked a Senate bill sanctioning Deripaska’s company, allowing it to open a facility in Kentucky.

Now cite whatever TF you’re talking about, and not using Tony Bobolinski who Rupert Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal found to be not credible. TIA!

Yep. I heard this Truth teller also knows how Biden hacked the Dominion machines. He’s going to blow this one wide open!

Uhh huh... just like the Kraken was gonna blow the lid off of everything. Just like how Durham was going to expose everything. Yep that truth is out there and it's gonna explode

Awwww... bless your little heart!

Did Deripaska's son get a college recommendation letter from Trump like Joe did for Li? Did Deripaska have a key to Trump Tower like Li did for Bidens office in Georgetown after leaving the VP office? As for the WSJ, didn't know they're the authority on Tony Bobolinski who was interviewed for 5 hours by the FBI (and committed perjury per Rupert Murdoch)

Meanwhile when will Hunter pay back the $2 million to Kevin Morris for his back taxes?
