Whistleblower accuses Biden of criminal conduct

It’s almost like all those foreign governments and actors paying the Biden family might have expected something for their money beyond photo ops and invitations.

Grassley knows exactly how whistleblowers work. He is a trusted member of Congress whom whistleblowers go to.
It would appear that Comer and Grassley do not trust the FBI. And, for good reason. It would also appear that they are in possession of a copy of the document they are asking the FBI to produce. Thus, the specificity of their statement.

And, as for the tweet in a previous post - the document in question is from 2020. And, it appears that the FBI has not acted on it to date. That is why the whistleblower has come forward.

No he is not.

Senator Grassley has been the most effective advocate for whistleblowers in the history of the U.S. Congress. No other member of the House or Senate has fought for whistleblower rights as aggressively and consistently as Senator Grassley. His imprint is on all of the major whistleblower laws passed in the last forty years. His record of bi-partisanship stretches as far back as his support for the Defense Department official Ernie Fitzgerald, who was fired by President Richard Nixon after testifying in Congress to billions in waste and fraud in defense contracting.

"Grassley is widely known as a defender of whistleblowers and is the co-founder of the Senate Whistleblower Protection Caucus."

Well, we need to investigate, don't we?

Tie up all the Repubs in investigations so they don't do anything constructive at all, then hammer them in ads saying they did nothing at all.

All that was flushed down the toilet when Grassley defended Grump for firing a whistleblower against him.

Why wasn’t it acted on in 2020?

Probably for the same reason H. Biden's laptop hasn't been acted on for over 4 years.
He's a Democrat.

please explain more in details why the Trump administration did not act on it Trump was president ion 2020 and Bill Barr was the attorney general.

also, as for H. Biden's laptop, there is an ongoing investigation that was opened in 2018 under Trump's DOJ and is still under investigation by a Trump-appointed prosecutor

We have seen the bias at the FBI. We have seen the texts from some in the FBI leadership. Sure, Strzok and Page and McCabe are gone, but they were the tip of the iceberg when it comes to corruption.

And the laptop and tax investigation going on has its own whistleblower. Seems that investigation is being stonewalled too.

Just leaving this here for no reason at all:

Yawn. Get back to us when there are actual charges. But nice try floating innuendo and vague accusations.

Sounds like it isn’t really a whistleblower case. A real whistleblower files a qui tam claim based on insider documentation and if DOJ decides not to intervene, the whistleblower pursues the case with his own lawyer and collects 3 times the recovered amount if they win. I know a couple of qui tam lawyers and if they have a case they pursue the hell out of it. They don’t leak it to Congress and taint the case as a political attack.

No qui tam litigation is pretty limited in terms of cases that can be brought.

Right wing lies. Payments for influence are legal.

It is legal for a foreign country to pay the VP of the US to get favorable policies? Really? Is their a cap on how much they can pay?

You thought it was legal for the President when Trump did it.

Stop watching Fox News. They lie to you.

Ask, why did Grassley think he was presiding over the Senate on 1/6?

President Trump accepted bribes from foreign countries?

Can someone tell me in simple words the name of the person who supposedly committed a crime and the specific crime(s) they supposedly committed?

A whistleblower is alleging that the FBI and the Justice Department are in possession of a document that describes a criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national relating to the exchange of money for policy decisions, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer and Sen. Chuck Grassley said Wednesday.

Comer, R-Ky., and Grassley, R-Iowa, said the whistleblower claims the document "includes a precise description of how the alleged criminal scheme was employed as well as its purpose."

The document, an FBI-generated FD-1023 form, allegedly details an arrangement involving an exchange of money for policy decisions.

Comer issued a subpoena Wednesday following legally protected disclosures to Grassley’s office.

"We believe the FBI possesses an unclassified internal document that includes very serious and detailed allegations implicating the current President of the United States," Grassley said. "What we don’t know is what, if anything, the FBI has done to verify these claims or investigate further. The FBI’s recent history of botching politically charged investigations demands close congressional oversight."

You have it backwards...Strozk and McCabe have not only been exonerated, but their lawsuits for restitution have been successful.
