Shocking that neither of these committee chairman have a clue about how the whistleblower process works. When someone files a whistleblower accusation it is sealed while DOJ investigates it so that if there is something to it, the subject and witnesses aren’t tipped off to destroy evidence and cover it up, or if there is nothing to it, an innocent person isn’t injured by a bogus complaint.

Grassley knows exactly how whistleblowers work. He is a trusted member of Congress whom whistleblowers go to.
It would appear that Comer and Grassley do not trust the FBI. And, for good reason. It would also appear that they are in possession of a copy of the document they are asking the FBI to produce. Thus, the specificity of their statement.

And, as for the tweet in a previous post - the document in question is from 2020. And, it appears that the FBI has not acted on it to date. That is why the whistleblower has come forward.
