Well my kid will smile and say hi how are you today. Rather have my kid sitting next to me than an arrogant ahold who wants everyone to know how great he is or can’t handle his alcohol. Or the person who won’t stop posting and takin pictures perfectly posed so everyone knows they are in first/business |
| I have flown business class alone but cannot afford to pay for 4 in business, so yes, I always fly economy with my family. |
| Never economy. It's worth every dime to be up front |
Same. |
My kiddos are teens now, and have been flying in the cheap seats to Europe since they were babies. It isn’t always the most pleasant or the most comfortable, but it is only a few hours, and there are other things I prefer to spend my money on. However, if you have money to burn or an obscene amount of airline miles, go ahead and sit everyone upfront. I’m sure you will also have the car service waiting wherever you arrive. |
What’s wrong with having car service when you arrive. |
I fly economy and have a car service waiting for me lol. |
Same. After a long flight with four kids on no sleep, not having to navigate the taxis or public transit from the airport is clutch, and usually doesn't cost that much in the grand scheme of things. |
Ha and we flew business but took the train. |
| It depends on how we’ll be there. If it’s a short trip and we need to hit the ground running, I’ll her first class so we have a chance to sleep. If we have more time and maximizing day one isn’t as crucial, then economy is feasible. |
| At 8 and 11, if they are well behaved and mature, I'd put them together in economy and put myself and spouse in business and just check on them. |
+1000 If there are 4 of you, the car service is not that much more than the train (maybe double) but way more convenient after a long flight. It's only an extra ~$50 |
Same, except I got bumped up to Economy plus once and I couldn't discern much difference. My income is over $500k and I've been to Europe and Asia several times. The beds in first class would be nice if you want to pay, but economy plus is for suckers who want to feel special. |
How will we see you from first class? |
My DH is a frequent flyer for work and he earns points with airlines. I was only able to travel in 1st with my kids because we got 3 tickets for the price of 1. We flew DC to LA once for $16 for the three of us, in Economy. you are so sad and stunted. |
