Do you fly economy to Europe with your kids?

Taking our first trip with our kids to Europe. They’re 8 and 11. I’m trying to decide how bad it will be to fly economy. Business class will cost $2500 per ticket, so it’s double the cost of an economy ticket.

Yes, we fly economy. Even in business class you're not going to get more than a few hours of sleep, so might as well save your money.

Yes, we fly economy.

Agree with PP. Unless you are upgrading to first class, where the seats turn into beds, it's not worth the dollars spent on upgrade.

If you would fly economy into your own, I don’t see why you would fly business with kids. Their bodies are smaller so economy is less uncomfortable to them than to an adult.

+1 just flew economy to Asia and a separate trip to Europe with kids ages 11 and 13. It went fine.

My kids have plenty of room in economy… kids are smaller. Plus you can book all 4 across for the family in a 747.

We just did economy to Germany and it was fine. We got quite a deal- $700 roundtrip. Biz seats were $4000…easy decision.

We do Premium economy/economy plus. It’s not much more than economy and Worth the extra leg room and recline to get more sleep. Meals, snacks, drinks are better and dedicated cabin of 20-26 seats so quieter.

We do depending on the cost and it is no issue at all flying economy.
