Do you fly economy to Europe with your kids?

| Taking our first trip with our kids to Europe. They’re 8 and 11. I’m trying to decide how bad it will be to fly economy. Business class will cost $2500 per ticket, so it’s double the cost of an economy ticket. |

| Yes, we fly economy. Even in business class you're not going to get more than a few hours of sleep, so might as well save your money. |

| Agree with PP. Unless you are upgrading to first class, where the seats turn into beds, it's not worth the dollars spent on upgrade. |

| If you would fly economy into your own, I don’t see why you would fly business with kids. Their bodies are smaller so economy is less uncomfortable to them than to an adult. |

| +1 just flew economy to Asia and a separate trip to Europe with kids ages 11 and 13. It went fine. |

My kids have plenty of room in economy… kids are smaller. Plus you can book all 4 across for the family in a 747.

| We just did economy to Germany and it was fine. We got quite a deal- $700 roundtrip. Biz seats were $4000…easy decision. |

| We do Premium economy/economy plus. It’s not much more than economy and Worth the extra leg room and recline to get more sleep. Meals, snacks, drinks are better and dedicated cabin of 20-26 seats so quieter. |

Not true. It is a world of difference and you definitely sleep/eat better and ready to hit the ground |
