But it raises the acceptance rate, and makes people think it's not there with Rice and Vandy when it is when you only count the main campus.

It isn’t right there with Rice and Vandy because those Oxford kids all come to main campus and graduate with the same degree.

To be fair it seems like a few PPs got into Rice and Vandy but not Emory soo...

Oxford is no different than Transfer students

Actually they are, because Oxford students are considered Emory students from day one. There is no metric they need to meet to move to main campus.

Yes it is, they need to graduate from Oxford. The DOE doesn't consider both campuses the same.

But Emory does. You’ve tried to make this argument multiple times here and I am not sure why you care so much. Emory is a T25 school, wishing away 1000 Emory students is stupid and doesn’t even change people’s perception of the school.

That's the point PP is trying to make. There's students or will be students at Vandy and Rice that didn't get into Emory/Oxford but somehow they're better than the school they didn't get into. And there all T25, so I don't know what you mean by that.

+1 I know several students at Rice and WashU that didn't get into Emory and vise versa. DCUM is too anal about ranking, the small ranking difference isn't due to selectivity.

Duke ED is 15%. Emory is 20%. That's not FAR....

Duke does D1 athletic recruiting in that 15%

Duke has only one Ed. Emory’s ED1 acceptance rate is well over 30 percent. A lower ED2 rate brings it to 20.

DD has full ride to WashU but rejected to Emory...both campuses. College admissions is very random at the top.

My DC applied to both Duke and Emory - so I have no shade on either. I am the one who pointed out Duke is a harder admit and I stand by that. Obviously there are random admissions all over the T30. I'd be happy to be wrong and have DC accepted to Duke since DC prefers it. Emory result was Oxford acceptance, Main campus denied (not WL).
