Hamilton historically and accurate and a letdown

OP, you should definitely not go see Six.

If you're going to tell someone's life story in facts are readily available to you, why would you not try to be as accurate as possible?.

Because it's entertainment, not a biography. If you were directing this comment at Chernow, you'd be right. But as it is, you're just annoying.

Because they wanted to avoid a lot of these inconvenient truths. It would have made the story less crowd-pleasing and let's face it, it's ultimately about putting a$$es in the seats.

Ha yeah definitely don't see Six, or Pacific Overtures, or Les Mis...

I mean you don't have to love the show but obviously it is going to be a simplified version of history.

Umm because we loved it and it was worth every penny.

Our then MS Dc wanted to listen to it in the car all the time as well.

We looked up the relevant history and appreciated this formerly little recognized founding father.

We loved all the diversity of actors in the show, which was important for my child to see. It was ground breaking at the time.

We truly loved this show.

The music was horrible and sounded like highschool slam poetry.

Add to the list, don't watch South Pacific, or Assassins, or Miss Saigon, or Newsies, or anything set any time other than today, and featuring any story line that involves history or actual historical people. And as someone earlier noted: Don't go near any Shakespeare histories, OP! Or really any Shakespeare at all, because even in comedies his geography is all wrong, and that will only inflame the ulcer you''re working on with your ire over Hamilton.

Maybe just watch modern sitcoms on TV. Not dramas, they might get police procedure wrong and that's inaccurate....Wait! It's inaccurate that on sitcoms, people live in gigantic apartments in what are actually very high-cost city centers! Stick to just news and documentaries. There you go, OP.

Because tweaking can focus the story and make the timing flow better.

We loved it and so did many others - why get your kicks raining on others’ joyful parades?
