Sick of the sports moms and the the drama/ theater moms who push their kids to run over other kids is out of hand. They teach their kids to disregard the feelings of others and have a “ me first” attitude It’s just gross. Kids are allowed to mouth off and assert themselves every which way. No limits. The rudeness to authority figures is like nothing I have ever seen. Teachers, coaches, director of the musical and so on.

Gross. It’s just gross. This is a good school? One of the best in the state?

We have this too at our Non-W, low-rated high school. The question I ask you is why do you think spoiled, bratty, rude kids and crazy parents are only at W schools?
You do realize that there are at least 2000+ students in an MCPS HS- you're bound to find these type of people everywhere. It's called life.

Maybe because she is talking about the school where her kid attends, which happens to be a W school? No where did she claim it only happens at W schools. She can only talk about the schools she knows.

Because she somehow expects that this wouldn't exist in one of the best high schools in the state: "Gross. It’s just gross. This is a good school? One of the best in the state?"
I hope everyone knows by now that schools aren't ranked based on student behavior.

Actually, for a low FARMS school its test scores seem kind of average.

Well, they definitely have one of the highest test scores in the state so I wouldn't call it average at all. My point was that the rankings don't consider student behavior. Not at all.

It's been obvious that there were behavioral issues at these schools for a while. Just search for W's and hate crime. Sure. They have a high great schools rating but That's just a reflection of the neighborhoods. Lack of poverty. The parents and students are very privileged and unpleasant to deal with. I would avoid it all costs

You’re just projecting tying to get people to avoid Whitman like people avoid your IB school. Even if it worked it would just lower admissions and make the schools wealthier and the other schools more crowded. But deep down you know the vast majority of people who can afford to avoid your area will pay for that privilege. The people you decry are the ones they are paying to be around.
