We moved from a W to private. Privates can "counsel out" problem students. Publics can't.

Mine did just fine at a W school. They have amazing friends. Amazing smart kids who have graduated and have fantastic jobs and are intelligent.

Actually, I’m not. But I think you might be. I’m not saying there aren’t obnoxious people there. There are. But there are obnoxious people everywhere. You need to learn to deal with it or ignore it. Not go crying to DCUM every time someone does something you don’t like. You still haven’t said what the people do at Whitman that is so much worse than anywhere else in the area.

No they do not.

My kids have been at the Big 3 problems there as bad if not worse than public.

Privates have no mechanisms and hardly ever expel prob kids daddy or mommy just donate more.

Agree the issues are different

I think the expectation from parents that their child will have a premium public school experience is problematic. I think students pick up on their parents' elitism and entitlement.
