Kid is a senior at a “ W” school. I can’t wait until she graduates from this h&ll hole So sick of the spoiled, bratty, rude kids who go there. Sick of the sports moms and the the drama/ theater moms who push their kids to run over other kids is out of hand. They teach their kids to disregard the feelings of others and have a “ me first” attitude It’s just gross. Kids are allowed to mouth off and assert themselves every which way. No limits. The rudeness to authority figures is like nothing I have ever seen. Teachers, coaches, director of the musical and so on.
Gross. It’s just gross. This is a good school? One of the best in the state? |
| Ok, what did you expect when you went to a rich school and choose to self-segregate. |
| Okkk......I'm not a W school parent but you seem childish and petty. |
| I’m sure your kid is a perfect angel. |

We love Walter Johnson, even thought it's overcrowded. DS is the nerdy type, and hasn't noticed any such cliques and pushiness you mention.
If you're not a troll, OP, you should be mature enough to understand that MCPS high schools are SO HUGE... you just need to change groups and voila! Whole new school experience. |
| Op is a troll. |
| That was our experience at all. Sounds like your kid is in the wrong group. |
WJ is more reasonable IMO. |
*wasn’t |
WJ may be a W, but it isn't exactly like the others. I don't have kids at a W, but I'm partial to WJ. It seems low-key by comparison. |
| Troll |
We get all that at RM too but we add in a variety of guns, overdoses, fights, assaults, and the weed/vape bathroom on the 3rd floor. Oh and no parking. It's the best of both worlds |
So sad. |
Just because you don’t like what OP is saying doesn’t make OP a troll. |
If only there was an alternative to kids driving themselves to school? What are those yellow buses?? |
