I know that when kids at the private schools mess up with vaping and drugs, the schools take it very seriously and refer the kids to outpatient drug clinics. They can put resources on the problems, whereas at publics, they look the other way unless a student’s life is in danger or until the student newspaper reports embarrass the school into taking action.
