DC morning radio shows

Technically it's Baltimore, but I've been listening to Justin, Scott, and Spiegel on 98 Rock for the last several years. It's definitely low brow, but often hilarious and consistently enjoyable.

I can only tolerate EITM in small doses, definitely not my first choice.

Don Geronimo was just the absolute worst on BIG. Completely stopped listening once he joined.

Sharla McBride said this was the most disrespect she has experienced in her 17 year career. If being compared to Barbie (which she did to herself in a 2020 tweet) is the worse she has experienced, she has had it pretty easy as a female in the sports field. Belittling her is not OK, but I think getting fired for it was an extreme response.

She's on Twitter calling herself Barbie, it's the biggest movie in the country, but don't call her Barbie or she'll get you fired for it. All of the local sports media types are backing her up, maybe cancel culture will come for them one day.

No big loss though, Geronimo's morning zoo show was terrible in the 80s, his Stern rip off show was terrible in the 90s, and he didn't age well. WBIG plays old songs for old guys, stick with that.

If she refers to herself as Barbie then he will have a case. FYI so tired of cancel culture. If I were her I would have blown it off and no way would I want someone’s career ruined. I feel like this sort of thing would definitely come back to me at some point.

She should have responded by riffing on him as being an old man.

Just make fun of each other and move on.

I’m his age, by the way.
And are relishing in your internalized misogyny.

No. I just don’t take everything so deadly seriously. I’m a woman, by the way, who was a trailblazer for women in a male-dominated field in the ‘80s.

Yes, it was clear you are a woman. And a misogynist.

All this being offended at every freaking little thing is such a waste of time and energy. Just show them you are equal and better through your work and actions.

You can be equal and better through your work actions without accepting sexual harassment. Too bad you have not learned that in the last 40+ years at work. Thankfully the generations surpassing you expect at least the bare minimum which is to not be sexually harassed.

You should have seen the sexual harassment in the 80s! But we put our heads down, toughed it out, overcame it, worked harder than the guys, spotlighted our successes, and blazed trails for you.

You’re welcome.

We’ll thank you when you retire and stop pretending that sexual harassment is ok.

Of course it’s not OK. But it doesn't help to whine and be a victim. Engage in a battle of wits and win. Make them look silly and behind the times. This whole woe-is-me thing is ridiculous.

Nah. You’ve already excused and diminished the sexual harassment several times. The business world will be so much better when women like you are gone. Can’t wait to celebrate!

Snowflake.

Woe is you!

You don’t excuse the sexual harassment. You make fun of it and show how idiotic it is. She should have made some jokes about vapid Ken! Playing the victim will get you nowhere. Jousting and ridiculing the harasser with wit is much more effective.

I have a Russian co-worker, she tells me that American men aren't real men because we aren't chasing women around the office. I guess it's all a matter of perspective. I gave her a copy of 9 to 5 to show her the point where everything changed.
