I think the point was, if you’re used to playing the M&D’s and Hero’s Greens, Eaglestix doesn’t scare you. Top team for sure, but not better than what’s in Baltimore.

Is that exerpt from the book, "things losing teams say?". The DC teams love to say that winning games isn't important its the college recruiting that matters. Losing all the time can wear you down. A tournament tshort does actually matter to a 13 year old. Their longterm plan isn't really college at this point even if you can see that as a parent.

My daughter would rather play top teams and lose than will a bunch of easy games. Most competitive girls would say that same.

New to the story here. So are you saying good talent in VA is leaving their local clubs to play on MD clubs, making those teams over MD players thus pushing MD players further down the bench that focusing on winning t-shirts has now become what is most important to them?

Folks: This is the 28 BLC dad who didn’t have a path to Capital and repeatedly says this nonsense to justify his (not her) decision.

debating middle school lax at this point is dumb. Pride, BLC, and a few stars will combine next summer and make a team that will compete with most and this conversation becomes a moot point. Just ride out the fall, winter and spring .
