Interesting that YHS is the only Arlington hs not participating. And TJ is the only ms that is. |
TJMS has the countywide program for kids with social disorders and had a larger than average trans youth population |
Attack the sources, not the story ![]() |
You know what my biggest take on all of this is? The sheer naïvety of grown adults who a) believe this is all real, b) who champion it without any critical thought and c) who promote it without any investigation or research. Literally blows my mind. |
I'll admit I'm tempted to drive past the closest (to me) school on that list at the time they are protesting and see what's up... |
Protests are meant to be disruptive. Much more effective in garnering attention given what’s at stake. Imagine if the civil rights bus boycotts had been done during non-operating hours. The whole point is this issue affects kids in school so it’s important for the protest to have a direct impact on the school environment. I’m laughing at those clutching their pearls about students missing civic class when they are actually putting into action real life civic lessons. Bravo to these kids for standing up! |
Who said the schools or teachers are encouraging it? The info is being disseminated by students, they are the ones organizing the protests and leading the way. Some kids may end up facing minor disciplinary infractions, like being marked absent from class, depending on how their school handles it. Chill out y’all! |
Doesn’t matter if the schools support this kids. They aren’t protesting the school itself.
They are protesting our bigoted governor, Youngkin. As we all should. |
What isn’t real? |
YHS is not surprising. DHMS has a LGTBQ support club. I’d be surprised if they don’t do something. |
So proud of my son and daughter at W-L. They will NOT be going out to the virtue signal protest today.
They agree parents should be involved in the decision of children (whose brains are still developing) to become a different sex. |
Who changes their sex? |
