All schools in Virginia are doing it.
Hylton high school in PWCS is doing it at 9AM.
Time might very by schools, but we can’t officially tell the kids to go protest, but we can give them clues and need help to get the word out.

All? No one in my house has heard anything yet. I teach in a high school and my children attend a high school in a different district. This hasn’t been well publicized if it’s happening.

This isn’t a thing. OP is likely trying to stir the pot.

I’ve told my kids if they go they will face the school’s consequences, which I hope is normal rule for cutting. I support trans kids and think youngkin is in the wrong, but it’s not really meaningful to walk out when it’s a free pass.

APS has cut slack for kids attending the “right” protests. Try cutting class for the March for Life and see how far that gets you.

+1
APS is happy to accommodate "student led protests" on site, especially since those tend to be the "right" protests. I don't think there has ever been a march for life protest hosted on campus.
These student walkouts and "protests" during school on school grounds should end.

More info will be given to them at school tomorrow.

No dog in this fight but I am against kid protesting and walking out of class on any issue.

There probably hasn't been a KKK protest either.

Students at nearly 100 schools across Virginia are planning to walk out of class Tuesday in response to Gov. Glenn Youngkin's proposed policies that would change how schools in the commonwealth treat transgender students.

The student-run Pride Liberation Project is organizing the walk-outs on Tuesday. A list of participating schools shows several high schools in Arlington, Loudoun, Fairfax, Prince William Stafford and Spotsylvania Counties.

I wonder if these kids will encounter violence. I heard other groups are mobilizing.

I’m sure some small-d!ck “concerned citizens” will show up to flash their guns at a bunch of peaceful kids.
