age doesn't have a lot to do with it. I am 49 wife, DH is 54. He has not initiated in over three years. And when I do initiatie, I am so resentful and its not satisfying for me anyow. . Averaging 6 times per year. But he is a great partner and parent in every other way, so there is that.

Wow, exact same situation. Glad to know I am not alone. I haven't cheated but I would feel zero remorse if I did. Sorry you are going through this.

Around the same ages. Mismatched libidos, with my libido is strong for my age. Wife, on the other hand, is low. I have brought this up, but she has little interest in addressing it. Since she has a low drive, little incentive for improving the situation.
