Correlation between mask wearing and political ideology

I think the left wing shares a huge portion of blame too for politicizing masks.

Nope. Sorry. It’s not a both sides in this scenario.

NP. PP is a typical DCUM loyal-Democrat eunuch. It’s a sad truth that the Biden administration has plenty of misdeeds regarding masking and Covid. Among others, Walensky told people they could stop wearing masks if they were vaxxed. They’ve also pushed getting workers back to work sooner (5 vs 10 days of isolation).

The administrations are not identical, but only a loyal moron thinks the Biden administration has been good at protecting people.

I think most public health officials would be ok with lying to the public if they thought it would improve the public health.

I think both the Trump and Biden admins deserve some credit for the rapid and successful roll out of vaccines and therapeutics that have decreased the overall morbidity and mortality somewhat.

Mother Nature also deserves some credit for mutating the virus to a more contagious less deadly form.

You’ve missed that both admins and their public health officials have on more than one occasion been reckless with the public’s interests.

Covid is a much bigger problem than is commonly understood. Our nightmares are only beginning.

Both have minimized the seriousness of infection.

Both have relaxed PH guidance when vaccines/therapeutics helped, canceling much of the benefits. Walensky: “you can take off your mask!” What a fool! Ditto with *reducing* quarantine times immediately before the biggest wave of all. Whatever is driving these decisions is not an interest in public health.

Both have told the public things that they haven’t had to risk. Think of Fauci’s double-course of paxlovi. His insistence on higher protection for himself than he’s recommended. That both Jha and Walensky have their kids in a Newton, MA school with $M+ ventilation retrofit, while they tell the vulnerable that all is well.

Lazy Democrats need to put the country and humanity over the Biden administration, unfortunately this isn’t happening.

Don’t you have a Proud Boys meeting? The Democrats aren’t anti-democracy PoS like the GOP.

Lazy Democrats love to assume their critics come in one flavor. Thanks for making it clear that DCUM is mostly lazy, unthinking Democratic Party loyalists who are hostile to most of the country and most of humanity.

Public Health does not mean taking extreme measures to prevent a single respiratory virus, sorry. You’re completely irrational.

Lol! You’re a fool. The fact that transmission is respiratory does not mean it’s just a cold. The fact that it transmits so easily multiplies the risk from this much-more-virulent-than-the-flu virus.

There’s a bipartisan consensus by D+R leaders (and their loyal supporters) to minimize the problem. It’s only going to make the country’s (and humanity’s) problems worse.

I’m not going to play nice with morons like you, PP, ever.

You're outside the scientific consensus about covid and this not a D+R issue. Most countries outside China are moving on from covid, just like the US, as the disease is no longer the threat it was when it came out. Deal with it

The PP you are responding to doesn't care about covid, just stirring up descension. Track them through the various thread on this forum.

Fwiw, Kennedy center still requires a mask. So I will wear one but that doesn’t mean I think it make sense or that I wear one other places. So a ballet may have a similar policy to the Kennedy center. Can’t really use it as a real measure.

Anyone who is wearing or not wearing a mask based on politics is not so bright.

Most people I know who are wearing masks are doing so because of their personal health profile at this point. Has nothing to do with being "left" or "right" unless they are practically frothing at the mouth at this point.
