Rider cut a deal and they are taking all Capital Blue for their first team. They will stay together.

You know what irritates me the most about this thread? It is the fact that you have no idea what the girls are looking for in a college! You all are judging them based off of the colleges they are choosing to determine how good they are. Not every girl wants to go play for a top-five school. Some would rather go to a smaller school to play for four years. Some are looking for a specific major that not all colleges offer. Some may want to go to a college that a family member went to. We have no idea why the girls choose the schools they do but we should not be judging them in the programs based off of their life decision. Be happy they are getting recruited and celebrate that. Let’s be real, my daughter is playing lacrosse to help her get into a good college. Sometimes it is even about getting a little extra money so they don’t always have to pay it back as adults

I keep seeing comments about MD clubs not playing even PT. My DD is a 25 on one of the MD big 3 A teams and that has not been our experience. Since she's started, for the most part it's been pretty close to equal PT. The team plays to win, so towards the end of games there could be some adjustments, but for the most parts, the girls have all always played quite a bit. Of course I'm not watching the other ages play so really can't speak to them, but maybe we're the one off...

To Jeff / moderator of this forum: thank you for removing previous MD club parent posts in this thread that were deeply offensive to young women everywhere who play lacrosse. They were despicable statements and they have no place here.

Such inappropriate comments are a bad look. MD club directors who watch this forum should send a message to parents that such behavior will not be tolerated. Very easy to learn the identities of those who engage here if there is a true desire to change club culture.

Excellent points. There are legit stars who are on Maryland who barely see the field for their careers. Hopefully they don't regret that experience.

To me, the end goal should be education. Unlike revenue sports, lacrosse for the most part goes down the line with dominant programs and high academics, hence Ivy league teams are always in the top-20.

What did you hear?

I’m sure both goalies will go high D1

One will

On one thread, someone said both goalies will go to big schools. Then, the same person or someone else said at least one will. I have seen both of these goalies play against my daughters team several times. My daughter has played with and against them at different showcases and speaks highly of them both as a player and person.

So, I’m curious which goalie you think would go big out of the two. Because from what I have seen, they will both go to top schools

They were horrible. The silence from the MD club parents about it is deafening. Will no one from those teams denounce it?

Not the one at the public school. Competition level is not high enough on a regular basis.

Well, you obviously have no idea what you are talking about because both of Capital Blue goalies are public school girls that play at the highest level in Fall and Summer. So, your statement makes no sense or you have no idea what you are talking about

24s already started to commit on the D1 level, guess we will see what happens with the DC area kids
