It all feels messy, filled with drama

Sick of the secrecy. No wonder the media is running “wild.” Jeremy Renner was totally transparent. I bet this is drugs or a heart attack/stroke.

Sorry to see the daughter made it about "the media"; the media "ran wild" because there were zero authentic-sounding updates. (A lot of people questioned the Instagram post supposedly written by Jamie Foxx.) No family owes the public details or photos or anything at all, really, but it would have been smart to have said something when he left the hospital. If he left the hospital "weeks" ago it seems strange that they didn't at least say at that point, he was able to leave. That would have been taken as a good sign and those "The family is expecting the worst" stories from the past few days, which folks mentioned earlier in this thread, might never have gotten started. Still, glad to hear that he's improving and no longer hospitalized. Though "out of the hospital" does not mean "at home." He may be in another facility. Wherever he his, let's hope he's doing better each day.

Side note, but I'm still amazed Renner wasn't killed or permanently, severely maimed. He does have a lot of healing and recovery to do, but wow, was he fortunate. Glad he's doing so well.

He posted himself o Instagram last week. When I said that you people are like oh no TMZ said he’s dying, maybe his people did it. No he’s been fine. you all want it to be drama, That’s all.

And while they don’t owe us anything, they could have never posted about it from the beginning and we probably would’ve never known he was sick.

No way ever to tell if someone that level of famous is doing his own posts. A lot of curation by PR specialists goes on, when the accounts belong to big stars. Of course some are known for not using flacks etc. but just no way to tell with others.

You’re missing the point. People were saying it wasn’t him bc he was dying in the hospital. He wasn’t even in the hospital.

I agree so much with this post. She could’ve done a better job at providing an update without going there with the media excuse. Clearly, everyone has been speculating at this point. She could’ve stopped the rumors long ago with an update. I find it strange that when we heard last week he wasn’t doing well.. he thanked everyone and when the report came out yesterday about him taking a turn for the worse she came out with this post. Very odd.
I hadn’t given any thought to the fact that he may not actually be home but possibly in another facility. I pray he is doing much better.

Also,, why isn’t he posting something or a quick video? All still seems very strange.

An obvious lie. My guess is that maybe he has some paralysis or something that will affect his ability to work as an actor and they are trying to buy time.

Pickleball? Show us a photo of him playing pickleball or else I'm not believing it. JF is an accomplished actor, who gets my respect and well wishes.
