Holy Toledo what happened to this guy's career? It has gone absolutely down the tubes. Day Shift on Netflix? Utter trash. Come to think of it, Foxx really hasn't a made a solid set of movies in 10-15 years. He's gone the way of Johnny Depp. What happened to this guy? Does he have no filter for film projects?

He seems to have a lot in the pipeline. And he did the main voice in Soul last year, and that was a great kids' film.

+1 His recent netflix series, he co-created, executive produced and starred in. I'm sure it isn't everyone's cup of tea but I liked it. It has the same feel as the Jamie Foxx show which I used to love.

I can't wait to see him playing Mike Tyson. Mike is pissed about the upcoming Hulu series about him but he's actually involved in the one Jamie Foxx will star in (for HBO, I think).

He is clearly not focusing on his career as an actor, and like every other famous actor, will take the easy role for the Netflix money. He is focusing on producing (similar to Will Smith) tv shows and movies.

I actually enjoyed Day Shift for what it was - a ridiculous B movie.

I think he’s doing just fine. The “leading man/lady” period doesn’t last forever, and a lot of actors move into direction, production, and writing, and other behind the scenes stuff.

My friend dated him and he is actually a very nice man. Down to earth. Intelligent, sweet. He's a good one.

I don’t doubt it though. I’ve listened to a lot of interviews and podcasts with him. He does seem really genuine. And is exceptionally talented.

He really is. He can do both drama and comedy including sketch comedy and he has an incredible singing voice. OP doesen't need to worry about Jamie Foxx's career, I think he's doing just fine and he's worth over 100 million.
