What's the mood at your 4th of July parade?

Until your kids get shot. Then it’s not so cute anymore.

Who ARE you psychos?? Or is it just the one, shame posting over and over? You look ridiculous.

The parent of a child who is shot to death is a psycho?

Impressive fireworks display later tonight - as always.

Our neighborhood represents people from nearly every state... very few born and raised in the area. But we all have one thing in common - proud to be American.

+1 same for our neighborhood!

Lots of celebrating and fun.

So you are celebrating people getting shot?

Typical right wing denial. "Didn't happen to me so who cares."

Every day, there are tragedies. Banality of evil and all that. But, only the mentally ill cancel all their plans to sit in mourning over daily shootings that dont involve them. A normal and healthy behavior is to continue on with your celebrations. Im wishing you peace, comfort, and a good therapist.

+100

You are a f**king sociopath if you think that a person mourning the senseless death of another is “mentally ill”. Seriously, I am so sorry for the monsters you call children that you are raising.

I do question your mental health. To put it mildly.

Sorry - which parent here is the parent of a child who was shot to death?

There are thousands of parents whose children were shot to death. Many hundreds this year alone. What’s your point?

I love to hear it.

Aww, how disappointing. Because he actually wasn’t booed. Keep the faith, though!

That’s too bad. I was beginning to think maybe you weren’t all idiots. My bad.

It was fantastic today at the parade with beautiful weather. We were reminded of those 56 brave men who committed treason against their former country.

Happy 4th everyone!

We didn’t go. Our town’s parade was after the shooting in Illinois and neither one of us was up for it. Apparently few went and those who did go or had to be there said it was pretty solemn and people were distracted.

We are pissed at you imbeciles

Sad day. Something as culturally American as a small town 4th of July parade destroyed by a teenager with an assault rifle.

Could have been any town.

He was also cheered. I was there too. Lots of cheering for him.

Was in the midst of a “USA” chant as the Republicans marched by along with cheers for Youngkin. So, probably not all boos. In this political environment, if he had not been booed some it would be really surprising.

He should have been booed loudly and by everyone. Revive our faith in Virginians.

Will be another town tomorrow or the next day - maybe yours.

Ours was fun in Indiana, but looking in the crowd, our area clearly has a meth problem.

Other than a mass shooting during the firework display, everything was great!
