What's the mood at your 4th of July parade?

She represents the entire state. She doesn't have a district.

Same. I hope there's no fire this morning because every fire truck in Nova was at our parade. As was every politician, local, state, and federal, and half the police.

We aren’t going in light of the mass shooting at the parade in Highland Park.

What freedoms are we celebrating again? I would love to celebrate the freedom to go to our town’s parade without the fear of my kids heads getting shot off.

+1. Americans have no freedom. When will the rabid right understand that everything they are doing is denying freedom!

Very patriotic. Lots of people - kids, grandkids, pets. Our neighborhood honored our vets as they always do - they paraded at the front of the parade.

Impressive fireworks display later tonight - as always.

Our neighborhood represents people from nearly every state... very few born and raised in the area. But we all have one thing in common - proud to be American.

This country sucks. Americans gunned down my a teenager with a high-powered rifle at a neighboring town parade.

How can anyone be proud or patriotic?
