Tampon shortage?

Ebay has kotex security tampons.

Tampon shortage getting even more media attention. Now the late night shows are talking about it (Trevor Noah).

Honestly, I've adopted some pretty poor hygiene habits as a result of the shortage. I keep the same tampon in all day to reduce the number I use per cycle.

I'm down to my last box of o.b.

As a person with an IUD* and minor prolapse, cups are not an option.

I guess I need to start buying underwear that can accommodate old-fashioned maxi pads.

*Several PPs mentioned hoping an IUD would help things. For me, Mirena doubled the length of my period but halved the flow rate. So instead of having five days of bleeding with 2-3 heavy days, I have 10 days of moderate-light bleeding.

I will never recover from Kotex discontinuing the security tampons. Only tampons that ever worked for me and I didn’t have to worry about leaks or changing constantly. I’m a teacher and it’s really hard to get to the bathroom every single hour to change one of this terrible little click tampons every 60-90 minutes the first day or two of a cycle.

Love my cup, emptying it and replacing takes a little bit of practice but once you’re used to it, it’s life changing. I’m someone who has to empty every 4 hours or so, but still way better than tampons.

For OB fans, does Cora make an okay substitute? I am so sad the obs are difficult to find now. I am skeptical of the Amazon ones...
