I noticed this too this weekend at 2 cvs stores- pad selection was terrible too (peri menopausal and require both!)

Cup is awesome - you can leave it in longer - even on heavy days. In public restroom, you take it out, dump it out, and wipe the cup with toilet tissue. Then you put it back in. You can do the rinse in the sink when you get home.

Yes to the cup. Life changing before I switched BC to mirena. I was going to try the disk also (or soft cup/disk?.

I only ever had to empty at work one day each cycle.

Using a cup with Mirena is a great way to pull your IUD out.

I don’t need them now since I got a Mirena but just checked Walmart since that’s where I used to buy them. They have lots in stock with free shipping.

I am loving the Cora disk and ability to self empty without taking it out during the day.

I use the OB tampons and have noticed the same thing.

Same. Where are my OBs!!!!

Tell the PR folks that "self empty" isn't the greatest endorsement for menstrual fluid holder.

So then that’s a big drawback for those of us who don’t work at home…

You better pray because my holy grail Kotex Security became scarce and then I found out they stopped production. Devastating blow.

You can wait until you get home, that’s the beauty of the cup, you can leave it in for 12 hours. You will forget you are even on your period.

Anonymous wrote:I went to three different CVSs in NWDC today and the shelves were 99% bare of all tampons. The only thing left was some off brand super light option. What’s going on? Is it a CVS problem? This isn’t the first time either — same thing happened a month or two ago. I checked Amazon and they are almost three times the price. What gives?

I hope this supply chain issue with dependence on Asia for most of our products scare manufacturers to return to the Americas. Even if they opened factories in central and South America it would be less of an issue. It would also create jobs on this side of the hemisphere and curtail illegal financial immigration

Are you a heavy bleeder though? On my heaviest days I go through a super-plus every 3 hours. And while that’s usually only a couple days, it’s unpredictable in that sometimes I’ll have a couple heavy days, then a light one, then a heavy one again. A cup would bake me so anxious and no way am I dealing with having to empty it at work!
