I saw the class of 2025 had the lowest attrition of any class in recent years. Is there a reason for this?[/quote]

I believe it is the opposite - because the new students couldn't hack the program

You keep saying this, but also keep forgetting that the pandemic screwed up education for a lot of children. If there are lower test scores/higher attrition, it's more likely attributed to pandemic learning loss and the inability to teach STEM online than it is the admissions process, but you keep blaming equity for all your problems, racist.

Let's also not forget that no TJ Class in history has ever had to deal with the constant stream of racism and bullying from folks insistent on telling them that they "didn't belong at TJ".

It's awfully handy and convenient that you have folks behaving like utter jackasses with an eye towards abusing kids enough so that they drop out - and then using any carving of the numbers that they can in order to ghoulishly cheer that any dropouts are evidence that they "couldn't hack it".

Disgusting.

Racist. No you racist. No you.

Here’s the lawsuit I’d like to see - all named members of the Coalition enjoined from being anywhere within 500 feet of TJ’s footprint. They’ve already engaged in enough violence against this class purporting that they don’t belong - their presence in and around the building endangers any student who doesn’t fit their narrative.

Parent of a current TJ kid? Too bad - should have thought of that before you relentlessly attacked the Class of 2025 to further your sickening agenda.

Oh man, I would sign on to this in a heartbeat. It’s time to excise this malignancy from the community once and for all.

Team Asra. There was ZERO reason the admissions changes didn't have a 2-year delay. It wasn't fair to the 7th and 8th graders working their butts off instead of socializing to have a surprise switch at the last minute after two years of hard work.

FALSE. COVID eliminated the possibility of an admissions exam for the Class of 2025.

Oh shush. Covid and school closures and virtual school and isolation and lockdowns didn't affect students at all, in any way, at all.

Excellent idea. And ban them from tweeting about anything related to FCPS.

Vile POSs.

Can we stop them from spamming our parent FB groups with their right wing media stories, too? They have ruined the school for TJ students and parents. Take the admission debate elsewhere and let the community heal and go back to working to support students.

This isn’t the dunk you think it is.

Actually, individual group admins could do this fairly easily if they wanted to.

Where do I sign? These people are destroying the school.

I know my kid worked their butt off at Curie too and they didn't give us enough time to game admission to better fit the new criteria.

Me too! I spent thousands of dollars on that program and my kid wasted an enormous amount of time that they could have used to do things that are actually productive! And for NOTHING!

+1000. It is long past time to hold these people accountable for the emotional damage that they've done to kids who didn't get to choose which process they applied through. Inexcusable.
