I agree it’s good but dare I say perhaps too cheesey

Is there such a thing?

NY pizza sucks, yes I am from NY. Nothing beats a good coal fired pizza.

NY pizza is flavorless dough topped with crappy canned no flavor sauce with greasy cheap cheese.

The NY pizza thing might be the single best marketing gimmick ever.

Silver Spring used to have some pretty decent pizza places (Pacci's) and is now a pizza desert. Please for the love of god can someone open a decent place in downtown Silver Spring?

Anonymous wrote:Andy’s pizza in the nice Tyson’s mall (can’t remember if it’s I or II) is legit very good. I grew up in the northeast and think most pizza in this area is awful.

Andy’s is in Tysons II aka, The Galleria.

This looks legit. Thanks!

You are welcome. Unusual location, but great pizza and has been there for years.

I've been there and it's not good. Pizza stores like to overcheese their pizza and it tastes yuck when they do. Costco is also guilty of this and yuck. Sam's club pizza is top tier though.

I prefer Pupatella - also in Arlington.

No to the Italian Store. Pupatella is pretty good.

One is coming soon to West Springfield!!!

Pupatella's is very wet. Delicious but wet.

Idk what wet means here but I’m willing to find out

Soggy in the middle. Not the PP but the pizza is overpriced for the quality.

Try Menomale. But just noting, takeout/delivery Neapolitan pizza is never going to be as good as when you eat it fresh from the oven.

Wouldn't say it's the best around, (but liked it more than Pupatella) is Pizza Roni in Vienna. Not as soggy, yummy crispy crust.

We live in DC and I love pizza. I like Wise Guys for traditional, Timber for yuppie, Pi for Chicago style, and Slice Joint for regular deep dish.

I've never gotten the hype about 2 Amy's.
