I’m not going to cancel Spotify, but I am annoyed at the “both sides” argument and “listen to other viewpoints”. Prior to Trump’s presidency, when popular figures amplified misinformation, they were called out in it and held accountable. After the rise of “fake news” we are now expected to weigh qanon conspiracies with the same weight as actual science? This is what irritates me. Especially because I don’t think he believes. I suspect he is vaccinated, so his posturing is dishonest.

Apple Music is taunting Spotify that they still have Neil Young. I looked this morning and Apple Podcasts has Joe Rogan too.

Are people fine switching to Apple because Apple Music and Apple Podcasts are separate?

That seems like grasping at straws. And now this morning Joni Mitchell has asked Spotify to remove her songs.

Oh and the secret to Spotify is you download the content that will be removed and put it in your own playlist. It’ll be there once the content is gone. I’ve noticed this several times with Spotify.

I am fully vaccinated and boosted, so is my husband, and our 5 yo daughter is fully vaccinated. I also listen to Joe Rogan. I have honestly never heard him tell people not to get vaccinated! I don’t understand why people say he is anti vax.

No, that’s not wrong with America now. What’s wrong is conservatives spewing lies and crying in bad faith about persecution when there is righteous pushback against their propaganda. They’re the problem with America now. The way they behave and their values are completely at odds with America. They hate America and all it stands for. He has never once said Sandy Hook was staged. I don’t know where you are getting this. Some of you are very confused.
Joe Rogan is not a right wing podcast. I listen to Terry Gross, Marc Maron, etc. Rogan is a thoughtful, curious guy. He always pushes back against his guests when they say anything that is “crazy” - I’ve heard him interrogate right wing views more often than I’ve heard him spout them himself. I truly believe most people commenting have never listened to him.
