Notice the shirt he’s wearing? He seems supportive of black culture. Ha, kidding.

On one hand, I totally see this point. The dentists have mostly agreed, let’s just move on. But…. Aren’t you curious why the 10th dentist is holding out? What does he recommend instead? I honestly think that sounds like an awesome podcast.

20%+ of Americans have a mental illness. You don’t need a Spotify account to listen to the unhinged ramblings of nutcases. Just go to any random street corner.

Your desire to listen to the extreme outliers is not indicative of an “open mind” or thoughtfulness. It’s merely gawking at the carnival freak show.

Uh but in this example, the outlier is an actual licensed dentist…. Not a mentally I’ll person. And it’s called being curious.

10% of doctors are utter grifting morons looking to bilk as much money as possible. Probably an even greater percentage of doctors have a personality disorder.

Spend more time around doctors, they have all the ugly foibles of the painfully average American.

“Trust experts! Get your medical opinions from doctors, not Joe Rogan! Oh but watch out for 10%+ of doctors because they are grifters and have personality disorders!” Not sure where that leaves us.

This is why I take my medical advice from Big Bird.

Time to move on people. Joe Rogan has covered controversial subjects for years, and interviewed people from all walks of life. He isn't going to change.

Nah, the king of not moving on just weighed in.

The cancellation failed. People have moved on, including the Obamas. Spotify stock is up.

I don't even use Spotify but after this maybe I will. I respect them for saying that they were going to continue to allow differing viewpoints and just stuck with it. I wonder if this has made some other companies rethink their cancellation decisions over the past couple of years.

Joe Rogan is a POS conspiracy theorist and Spotify sucks for giving him a platform. I am exercising MY right to spend MY money as I see fit. That's not "cancel culture." That's how free markers work.

He’s really not a conspiracy theorist. At the most he likes to get high and talk about alien conspiracy theories. Are you going to cancel Netflix bc they have alien conspiracy documentaries? What about history channel - they have a lot of them too.
I’ll say it again - everyone complaining is someone who does not listen to him!

This is false. He is spreading misinformation. I don't care if he, personally, believes these things; I care that he's spreading them. https://www.cnbc.com/2022/01/14/experts-confront-spotify-over-misinformation-in-joe-rogan-podcast.html

LoL, that exactly what free speech is. Even if its misinformation, they are within their right to propagate it. The counter to that is to better propagate and or counter his misinformation with facts and logical commentary. Not being able to do so makes us weak as a democratic society. You would have served the cause better by taking on that misinformation by countering it point by point, at the very least on this forum. You are however absolutely free to cancel subscription, but you took the easy way out. The one that takes the least time, and application of mind (and carries the least financial burden). That laziness is how democracies deteriorate.
