Don't you think it's odd that The Rock was a fan of his previously, listened to his show, but had no idea he had ever used the N word? I have been listening for over a year and have honestly never heard him saying anything racist, let alone the N word. I've never even heard him really talk about race....? Like I've never even heard him refer to "things black people do" or anything like that. I get it that the clips are proof he said it, but you really have to dig for this stuff, and it's really not representative of the guy I listen to all the time. |
| I cancelled it, but I mostly hated it anyway. Everyone laughs at me because I've always preferred Pandora (I know, not as cool). I also already have Apple Music. Spotify is a terrible company so I cancelled it not just because of this crisis, but because they suck as a business. |
Sounds like the Rock was about as aware of it as you were. But now that it's out in the open, it's impossible to deny. |
| Check out Alex Paterson on Twitter. @alexpattyy He’s part if a watchdog group and listens to all JR’s podcasts. JR’s been consistently disgusting and Alex has the clips. |
Why not just watch the actual podcasts? |
Why give the dope more money? |
Because you won’t get sound bites that can be taken out of context? |
He already got his money. $100 million of it. |
Yes. JR has always been trash. Recent controversy is just one of many data points. |
|
Right-wing Trump-supporting Rumble is offering JR $100 to move over all his podcasts to their video-sharing platform.

No he hasn’t. Contracts are paid out over years. They can be ended based on performance issues, morals clauses, etc. If Spotify now owns his content, his library won’t be going anywhere else. It all depends on the terms of the contract, which I believe has been pretty hush hush aside from the big headline number. |
