Do you think APS will close Wednesday too?

Wonder why you had to move here with the spineless people??

better yet, report them to the cops so they can be fined under arlington's shoveling ordinance.

Same. Chuckling at the folks who thought they’d land from vacay and shuffle their kids out of their hair. Also relieved ours isn’t confined them atm.

Isn’t the refreezing argument going to be a thing for days though? Ugh, and it may snow Fri too. FML.
Anonymous
I bet the Thurs-Fri snow may keep them out the full week.

How is it ridiculous? The buses can’t drive through the neighborhoods right now.

Exactly. They made the right call. I have been out driving in my car. It was slow going because people were doing dumb things but I was fine in my car. A bunch of busses filled with kids? No way is that going to be safe in the morning, even with a delayed start. The schools pretty much have to be closed tomorrow because the busses won't be safe for the morning routes.

And not safe for the walkers. Don’t forget how the walk zones were expanded in the past two years! Saw so many sidewalks that no one bothered to shovel yesterday/today.

Oh no - the bully thread got deleted. So sad.

Glad it got deleted. Showed the cowardice and malice of so many. Criticizing an assistant in such a harsh way while hiding behind anonymity of this venue.

+1

Some APS parents are so vile.

+2. Pathetic.

You might not be aware that some families have been out of power for nearly 2 days now. The roads aren’t cleared in the bulk of our neighborhoods, and county staff is down with covid. Many of us are able to get around no problem, but unless you’re personally helping drive the buses shhhhhhhhh you’re an embarrassment to the Midwest.better yet, go back.

No, that would be doing something useful and helpful instead of just incessant complaining.

That’s nice. They aren’t in many other APS-served neighborhoods, and they aren’t going to open just your school.
