Oh please. He was well respected and they did listen to him for awhile. Now they are like teens that rebel against their parents. |
They wouldn’t have been able to shoot and hunt if it weren’t for him. Anyway, all the things that happened in the last ep and people are focusing on coach?! |
Spoiler*****
I was shocked that Lottie seems to be alive. Do we think Javi is dead? The last episode solidified that Misty is crazy as f. So many things except for the actual plane crash are entirely her fault. |
The best shooter, Nat, already knew how to shoot. He’s suppose to be an adult. He never actually acted like one and should’ve figured out how to bring Jackie back inside. The head coach literally risked his own life to prepare most of the team for a crash landing. This man couldn’t even figure out how to get a teenager back inside a cabin. Her death was shocking but yeah, what would you like to focus on? |
Misty has turned into a real treat of a character - I found her so cringey at the beginning and now I am riveted to see what madness she's going to pull next. I totally knew she'd [that thing at the end] too because of COURSE she did. I don't know about Javi. I think it's not impossible he's alive. It's not even impossible that he's Adam. |
Reddit is better for theories. Most interesting I read were… Lottie sacrificed Javi which is why the bear arrived for food. Also, no one mentions him. They only ask where Nat and Travis are. Jackie didn’t give thanks for the food and then winter comes that night. Alex was part of Lottie’s cult and was sent to take Shauna. The red haired woman Taissa’s son sees in the tree is Van who is also part of Lotties cult. |
Except, we already know it's actually Taissa. ![]() |
Perspective, PP. Yes this is an adult. However, ultimately, it doesn't seem like the age difference between him and the girls is so different that he would be automatically respected as an adult. Maybe the older coach, yes, but not Ben. He also went through the same thing they went through, only he also lost a leg. He doesn't have any authority and has very limited ability to do anything without the support of at least a couple of the girls. Arguably, he and Jackie have the same amount of "authority" which ends up being meaningless. |
Could also be people acting in her name. The fake reporter said many stories had been written about the crash, but none from the four adult survivors we see. Some cult may feel connected to Lottie’s story and believe they need to sacrifice the rest of the yellowjackets. |
I figured it was cabin guy |
Anyone think the unmasked kidnapper looked just like Van--maybe her child? The show runners said they are all new characters. Also that viewers have overestimated some breadcrumbs and not noticed others. |
Same! |
No, they showed Tai in the tree already a few episodes ago. The writers said Adam isn't connected to the cult. I guess they could be lying to build suspense, but they've been pretty forthcoming about other things and theories so far. Maybe he's connected to someone/something else, though. https://www.vulture.com/article/yellowjackets-season-1-finale-explained-showrunners-interview.html

So you think he doesn’t know his mothers hair color? Why would he specifically say red? |
So I think it's important to recognize Ben is useless - if he were not useless then all the conflicts and plot points wouldn't be happening - he'd be in "charge" and in control. He needs to be useless for the show to work. |
