Apparently in the original version of the pilot, coach was gay and not out. Not sure if that will come up in later episodes. This was linked w/ proof in the show's subreddit.

I think Jackie's parents pushed her to perfection in the classic DCUM parenting style, and that ultimately, she was not actually as extraordinary as her mother said.

Why do we think Shauna and Jeff were cruel to Jackie's mom and dad? Yes, they were insulting but they're living with a grief-clouded fantasy of their lost daughter. I can see decided they couldn't participate in the illusion any longer but, so say so, and get up and leave. Shauna was obviously jealous of Jackie prior to the crash, but maybe Jackie was cruel to her post-crash (contributes to her losing the baby?) and they ended up truly hating each other?

Not Misty. She was one of the wacko animal cult members but not AQ. They briefly showed her removing her headdress at one point. Maybe Lottie but I think she's the one who fell into the pit. People keep saying Jackie but she had lighter hair and was already known to loan her necklace.

There is a theory that he might be Javi, but doesn't make sense to me that Shauna wouldn't recognize him if that were the case. People assume he's the blackmailer but I think it's Jeff, who could use the money. Maybe Adam is a relative of one of the other girls? Or someone trying to profit from the story in another way?
