I finished it. All the compound scenes were dumb, and really disliked the adult Lottie casting. The flashback scenes were much better overall. |

I’ve finished 5 now. Still not into it, agree on adult Lottie. I have no interest in the adults anymore. I just want it to wrap up - what happened in the past and how they got out. There’s a season 3? |

I didn’t mind this season. I really want to know more about Javi in the cave and I hope that we find out next season. Do you think the girls are all going to live in the cave now?
I’m not super interested in the adult timeline, although Melanie Lynskey is a joy to watch. And I loved Lotties caftans. |

Unfortunately I think they will find Ben in the cave and take it over. I would love for Ben to survive but I doubt it. |

I just finished the first two seasons. I feel like my review is "I love it, but..."
I still really don't understand the purpose of the entire Adam storyline. I felt like there was enough going on that we didn't need Shauna killing him to make the point about her/their trauma. I also felt like that made it a bit too soap opera-ish. The acting in this is amazing. I would watch a documentary on the casting process and the directing to get the older women to echo the younger. I agree that I didn't like the adult Lottie casting. They needed someone well-known for that role. I don't know why they cast the actress they went with. She's fine, but nowhere as talented as the rest of the cast IMO. I desperately hope Elijah Wood is back in S3. He is wonderful and such a great match for Misty. I can't stand Callie either, but I really couldn't stand the guy that played Matt the cop. He was so unbelievable smarmy and smug. Great acting on that guy's part. I'm eager to see what Season 3 brings. |

Wow this show is amazing. I'm not completely finished with Season 2, but we are flying through the episodes.
I've missed Juliette Lewis. All of the acting is just amazing. |

I am super late to this show, but just finished both seasons. I've been dying to read this thread, so now I finally can and here are my thoughts:
- Juliette Lewis is a horrible actress and I truly don't understand how she still gets jobs. That said, I love the actress who plays young Natalie. She's my favorite character. - Travis just breaks my heart. First his dad dies, then they eat his brother?? Gaaaaaaaaah! - Taissa has got to be the worst mother and wife in the world. Her wife is in the hospital in a coma and she just... takes off for several days, leaving her son with god knows who and no communication with the hospital?? That whole storyline is so poorly written. - Can't stand the daughter, Callie. She's been in something else too and just has the same snotty expression and demeanor throughout. - Love Coach Scott but I don't think he's long for this world. I can't figure out how he's still alive since he refused to eat any human flesh at all. Yet he's still bobbing around on his crutches, seemingly fine. I think the girls are going to find his hideout, kill him, eat him, and shelter there. - Misty cracks me up and now her perfect partner, Walter. - I am very confused as to how the last episode ended. Did Walter kill Kevin? I thought he just drugged him, but he shot him in the trunk of the other car? So confusing! Can someone explain that to me? |
