If you watch the show, you realize Kris and Kim are co-conspirators and it helped tremendously that Kris was willing to do whatever it takes to shine the spotlight on her daughter and Kim was always up for it. No shoot was below her, no brand she was too good to promote. They started by getting paid to promote everything and anything. And she took every job incredibly seriously and gave in her 100%. She was blessed with incredible good looks. The rest of her success is due to her relentless drive, self discipline and incredible hard work. She and Kris also seem to have a vision for their brand very early on and did whatever it took to achieve it. |
Lots of moms are willing to do whatever it takes, but Kris did it successfully. You have to marvel at what this woman has accomplished with no formal training of any sort. Just good nose and hard hustle. |
| well, you know...and tons of money and connection |
you are the weirdest poster here. You post this over and over and over again. Where in the world did you come up with this nonsense? |
The first million is the hardest! |
nice when that comes from your husbands/daddies, right? |
Her entire family paid for their looks. |
And? Apparently it paid off. No college grads, no “real” jobs, just big buckets of money for looking good and promoting themselves and various things. |

The criticism of artificial looks is increasingly strange to me. I guess when I was younger and didn't think about the criticism too much, it made sense. But as various kinds of appearance enhancement becomes more common and I give it a little more thought, I don't really see why this is a valid criticism.
There is artifice to almost everyone's appearance. That hair style isn't natural ... she used a comb! She *bought* that clothing! She didn't make it herself and it certainly isn't natural. Those muscles aren't natural - he spent hours a day lifting heavy things to alter his appearance. So the question becomes whether we have any real reason for drawing the line. Makeup is o.k. but botox isn't? Sitting out in the sun to get a tan is o.k. but getting implants is too far? It's all pretty arbitrary. And I think it ultimately comes from a desire to tear certain people down to build one's self up. |
Different poster here. The pp in this discussion proved her point. These posters are having a conversation about OJ being a murderer. Kim has certainly put this back into our minds. Kim did a good job. |
I think Kim was very beautiful here. She has an exotic, Armenian beauty showcased in these photos. She is still very pretty > just more in an unnatural manner. She will never be ugly…..or even just average looking. Her looks entirely are her money maker. No talent or education needed. She is rich because beauty sells over everything else. Btw, Kris Jenner in the People’s Kourt skit was just awful. She definitely should stay behind the camera. |
Do you think it's easy to stand up in front of live TV and a live studio audience and deliver comedy that has been written for you? I challenge anyone that thinks - oh, that's easy. You criticized her performance and then went in on her looks. You sound like a hater. And I'm not even a Kim K. fan, but c'mon give credit where credit is due. |
I think about this often too. Mostly when I'm choosing nail polish at the salon and think "I can't choose purple, that's not natural. Well, pink and red aren't natural either, yet here we are." |
