Kim Kardashian West hosts SNL

The SNL staff wrote a strong show for her - but only because they had so much material. She seemed game. I don't think she understood that everyone was laughing at her and not with her and that's kind of sad. I'm fascinated by her body - it's so unnatural and cartoonish, but I assume that's her goal.

I think her figure is incredibly attractive. I don't particularly care if it's cosmetic. I get that different things are appealing to different people, but the folks sniping about her appearance seem to be grumpy about it rather than just not attracted.

SNL was Kim’s finest moment(s)❣️

Who knew that she had it in her.
Btw, no pun intended.

While the writing was likely done by others > her delivery was on point.
She did a fantastic job, her sketch as Jasmine was awesome.

She was a stunning Jasmine to handsome Pete Davidson’s Aladdin.
Ooh and that kiss 💋 at the end.
They would make a beautiful couple. 💋

Kim K. is absolutely flawless.

She owns the OG birthright of authentic beauty.
No one (and I mean NO ONE!) can ever say she is ugly.
Because she is not.
In an way, shape or form.

I challenge any poster here to say she is truthfully ugly.
Any takers?
Go ahead….

Calm down, Kris. No one is coming for Kim.

She was a very pretty girl before and has had beautiful cosmetic work done.

The moms night out skit where she keeps falling asleep at the club was hilarious and rings true. She is famously straight edge and a homebody.

I don’t think that means what you think it means.

Pete is not a great comedian and his acting is sub par at best.
He is a mediocre entertainer and he looks too scrawny. However he did a great job Saturday evening and was a great match for Kimberly.
I say they date and he then officially becomes the luckiest. MF. alive.

I don't know who thinks there's anything "authentic" about Kim, but I thought she did a great job!

That show does not produce itself. The products and brands do not run themselves. From longform interviews done with her, journalists typically note how well mannered, thoughtful and detail oriented she is. Her advocacy on the Armenian genocide seals it for me. I like her.

Wow, people joke about PR teams posting here but this seems like evidence of that. But you forgot the criminal justice reform stuff.

I am the farthest thing you can imagine from her PR but I AM Armenian and I care about her acknowledging her heritage and advocating for the recognition of genocide.

She was always a beauty. Its incredible she was able to leverage her beauty into a billion dollar empire.

I think we can thank Mom for a fair amount of that.

Kris and Kim both deserve credit. Kourtney has really been been begrudgingly along for the ride, and I think Khloe has vacillated between gratitude for the success and resentment for the metric ton of insecurity that becoming 'the ugly kardashian' gave her but she has also worked hard.

But from all accounts Kim is savvy and a very very very hard worker.

- and no I'm not her PR, I'm just not a misogynist

This episode brought home that nostalgia for past seasons is the result of people remembering one or two good sketches and thinking everything was that good.

SNL usually goes a great job with the musical pieces and fake ads. Moms at the club was likewise great. But even the magic carpet one -- watch it with the sound off, and Kim's performance is painful. Good writing dragged her through.
