I'm with you. The OJ jokes were really offensive.

How were they offensive?

Yeah! What's wrong with telling jokes about two people being stabbed to death?!

SNL and every other comedian at the time made truckloads of jokes about those two people being stabbed to death. The late Norm MacDonald was famous for it. I have never watched the Kardashians and generally think she’s appalling, but it’s unfair to give her shit for this when Jay Leno had the dancing Itos on every night in real time.

Still particularly tasteless for someone whose family fame can be directly traced to the media frenzy of the trial to be joking about the actual murders and domestic violence, even all these years later.

Also her mom was ostensibly best friends with Nicole. I try not to joke about my moms best friend being murdered whenever I can.

Loved the monologue - she killed it! Enjoyed the skits too. Has been a few years since I’ve watched SNL, so was a pleasant surprise.

This was one of the best episodes of SNL in ages.

Agree.

Reminds me of how it was when I watched it in the 90s. Just awesome, silly humor.

Seriously? You're either a troll or the Kardashian PR person.
It was a meh episode at best. Kim and her family were stiff cue card readers. Most jokes seemed heavily edited to meet the approval of the Kardashian Empire--poking just enough fun without actually having any edge.

I was impressed with the monologue but then it went downhill. Her mom and sister were not a good addition.

I started out not liking Kim but I do now. You may not like the product she puts out but you cannot honestly deny the business savvy and work ethic that goes into it. That show does not produce itself. The products and brands do not run themselves. From longform interviews done with her, journalists typically note how well mannered, thoughtful and detail oriented she is. Her advocacy on the Armenian genocide seals it for me. I like her.

They weren't necessarily joking about Nicole. They were joking about OJ. I have no problem with Kim "joking" that he murdered two people. People should be reminded that OJ is a murderer.

If she wanted to tell some jokes at OJ's expense, fine. But these jokes were off-handedly referencing the actions of stabbing in the dark and leaving a mark. How can you listen to that without it calling to mind Nicole's and Ron's brutal deaths and OJ's spousal abuse?

What jokes could she tell at OJ's expense that don't off-handedly reference the killings?

Wow, people joke about PR teams posting here but this seems like evidence of that. But you forgot the criminal justice reform stuff.
