A mistake when she was young. Grace.

+1 and I'm an aging boomer

Do you think the guys in the dating skit were her reaching out to friends to help out or do you think that was all SNL-coordinated?

I remember my daughter talking about straight edge kids (kids that don't drink/drug) when she was high school back in 05-06'ish. I don't think it had anything to do w/sex or other morality back then, and I don't know if it's morphed into other meanings now. I always just thought it had to do w/drinking and drugs.

She looks like Kylie now. They must have the same plastic surgeon. Bottom half of her face is hideous.

I think it’s an act. Like Paris Hilton, I think she’s more aware and intelligent than she lets on.

Absolutely. You're going to make a lot more money acting vapid than you are by letting people know you're smart. Dumb like foxes. I don't like materialism or the idea that a woman's intelligence makes them less desirable, but we live in a sexist materialistic world and I don't blame them for playing the game and getting a payout.

I'm with you. The OJ jokes were really offensive.

Saw the opening and she crushed it.

It means she doesn’t drink or do drugs. Has absolutely nothing to do with sex.

I just can’t figure out how her body actually functions. Her torso looks like a Barbie doll. Are some of her internal organs in her thighs? She seemed smart and cool but her outfits just highlighted the uncanny valley quality of her famous figure.

How were they offensive?

Yeah! What's wrong with telling jokes about two people being stabbed to death?!

I wondered about the Skims, though. I've worn my share of body shapers and hate the longer ones that cause the sausage casing look on the thigh. I've actually avoided them, or changed outfits because of that look.

Surely someone noticed this on Kim's legs when she introduced Halsey the first time. Is that an "acceptable" look or did she do it on purpose to show she wears her product?

This intrigues me - why do you DVR it? Do you only have antenna or something? People still DVR stuff?

I'm old too but I'm wondering, why not DVR stuff? I record a couple of shows I like but don't want to have to watch when they're on. I guess I could look for them on demand or on Hulu or something but why not DVR if you have that capability? Then you can just watch them whenever you feel like it. For me it has nothing to do with not staying up late, I stay up until 2 am every night because I can.

I'm the person who says they were intrigued by her DVR'ing the show. I just didn't realize people still DVR'd stuff when you can just stream it whenever. The only thing that is DVR'd in my household is a football game. I honestly thought people would just catch shows like SNL streaming vs. DVR'ing it.

I'm the og dvr'r. I hate streaming because FF is disabled on most shows (at least over comcast - not sure what others use). I like to skip commercials, artists I don't want to listen to, bad skits, etc.

NP, and this is why I still DVR too.

I have xfinity and I’m able to FF through bad skits, musical guests. True, I can’t FF thru commercials but the commercials aren’t as bad as during a normal broadcast.

She crushed nothing. She memorized jokes she was given making fun of her family. All old jokes. There is nothing interesting about her performance. Her fake hips are supposed to give her an hourglass, but the back looks terrible.
