Anyone still waiting for Alexandria Futsal ID offer? Tried out last week, but haven't heard anything.

The Alexandria one week timeline for assignments has been moved to two weeks. They've rostered their internals first it seems. Chances are you are coming from outside the club. If not, I'd reach out to your regular coach and ask where things stand.

It will be two weeks after the date of the last tryout, they came out in rolling manner. Wait until first team offers accept, etc., and then move on down the teams.

What is the top team for Alexandria Futsal ID? I saw there's Elite now in the FAQ. Is that a thing for all age groups and sex?

Got an offer for ASA red a couple of days ago. Invites are typically on a rolling basis.

I don't think so. My son's friend plays for an Arlington Red team (Arlington's second team), and says he got an Alexandria futsal ID offer. I think they just fill it top down from red futsal ID.

Elite is 2nd team, Red is 1st team.

Elite was created as they will also do some of the higher level futsal tournaments.

Anyone know when you are able to register for First Touch Futsal...their website is the worst of all of them but seem to be closer to general springfield VA area.

Red and Elite are the top-level teams for select age groups and play the same league/tournament schedule. For some age groups at tryouts, it is difficult to figure out the "top" 7 players for a small futsal team roster. It is tricky even for an 11-sided outdoor team carrying 17-18 players!

The Alexandria kids were slotted first in the top spots and then outsiders were filled in. That doesn't mean that an outside kid wouldn't get an offer before an Alexandria kid if he was an obvious fit with a particular team. But, generally speaking, those offers are coming later and not immediately. Regardless, everyone will get sorted out in plenty of time - next week at latest.
