What do your boys wear to sleep?

+1. DS about to turn 11 soon and still wears PJ. I’m hoping he still does at least for another 1-2 years since I have a few larger PJ’s in storage.

My son is 10 and he wears matching pjs or bottoms with an undershirt

I asked my DG and he said he wore full PJ’s to sleep always. But, he came from a mix-gendered household and had a sister. Households with all sons seem to be the ones with kids sleeping in the nude or in underwear. My friend has two sons and they are always in just boxers. Interesting light on this discussion.

Maybe in some cases but I am not sure that's a general trend.

Random cotton shorts and random cotton t shirts. Still have some pjs for winter. I can’t imagine my kid wearing polyester shorts to sleep! We also bought PJs in Europe that basically look like what you would wear to go outside but are super light soft cotton maybe Minecraft or whatever. 8 yo

As long as they sleep with their doors closed and don't go in each other rooms a night, I think, they can sleep in what ever they want, mixed gender or not.

Never thought about like that before but perhaps you are right.

I buy the PJ sets from Target and Amazon. DS runs hot so he wear shorts to bed.

I’m also from a mix-gendered household where everyone wore full PJs (usually shorts and a t-shirt not actual PJs), but my mom was really strict about “modesty” in general. Boys were never allowed to be shirtless: not playing outside, not around the house, not for bed, not even at the pool or beach. Girls had to wear a skirt or shorts over their normal one piece swimsuits, so definitely no bikinis, crop tops, short shorts, or anything like that. Same gender siblings shared rooms but had to take turns changing. The whole thing was ridiculously over the top.

My 9yo at 8 started asking for pajamas that aren’t HA (though he still wears HA sometimes, like on vacation when we are sharing a space with extended family in a house). He wears boxers and a big tshirt most nights

My 9 year old has just worn underwear for several years now. He runs very warm.
