Interesting light on this discussion.[/quote] I’m also from a mix-gendered household where everyone wore full PJs (usually shorts and a t-shirt not actual PJs), but my mom was really strict about “modesty” in general. Boys were never allowed to be shirtless: not playing outside, not around the house, not for bed, not even at the pool or beach. Girls had to wear a skirt or shorts over their normal one piece swimsuits, so definitely no bikinis, crop tops, short shorts, or anything like that. Same gender siblings shared rooms but had to take turns changing. The whole thing was ridiculously over the top.[/quote]
