this is very unusual

Very!! I know a mom who posts pictures of her 11 year old in a onesie on FB and I cringe when I see it.

Why is this unusual? My sons 11 & 8 wear zip up rompers from Target. Similar to onesies except they're short sleeved and short legged and zip up front. They each have a Sonic and Pikachu romper. They like them and have worn them to sleepovers, the grocery store, and any other last minute errand. These have been their favorite pjs so far.

I have twins, one wears sweatpants shorts and a t-shirt, and the other usually wears just a pull-up.

Just because your kids do it, doesn’t make it not strange. I guarantee you that seeing your 11 year old wearing a zip up SS romper in the grocery store is cringe worthy.

HA and GAP and Old Navy.

I didn’t realize boys outgrow pj’s. How sad! My 7yo boy still wears matching Hanna pj’s every night.

That is adorable!

Does you husband wear matching pjs to bed? Of course they outgrow pajamas.

Mine usually wears one of DH's oversized shirts, and a pull up, never been a pajama wearing kid for some reason.

The pikachu is very cute but not appropriate for the grocery store or errands.

Luckily I’m sure PP and her kid don’t care what you think is appropriate.

Same I'm sad too!

What on earth is sad about it?

My son is 6 and I just bought a new round of HA pajamas for this upcoming season, but I'm realizing I could have done without and that this will be the last. DS doesn't mind pajamas but is also happy just wearing a tshirt and underwear. He puts on flannel type lounge pants when he gets out of bed.

I do buy undershirts from HA - they are soft and tagless and kind of still like pajamas!
