Yes but I would want the money to still get a break and not take a lifestyle cut.

I did both, not by design, but it worked out that way. I'm happy for having had each phase of my life. I'm now looking forward to the next phase.

Only if I was independently wealthy. I’m sure I could fill my days with joy, but I’d HATE being dependent on someone for my financial security. That will never happen.

Even if you have a great job. You are replaceable and your position will be filled in a hot minute if you left. As important as you think your role is...it isn't. No one will even remember you or care what you are up to after a week gone.
