I am just now watching the testimony from the au pair- is she reading off of a screen in the witness box? she keeps looking at a screen it looks like. am i wrong?

They have a screen there to display exhibits to the witness. During JPM’s testimony the defense was going particularly going through some of the messages from fetlife and telegram. On cross they went through a lot of her jail communications.

Is this a serious question? They’re not allowed to have pre-written answers. The judge is literally sitting right there and can see her screen. In fact, many times the judge had to tell the defense attorney, the witness cannot see what you’re talking about.

This thread is about the depraved and brutal murder of two people, Christine Banfield and Joe Ryan, the long twisty road to justice, and the impact on family (including the victim’s child), friends, and community. It seems wildly inappropriate to pop off about people that have a negative opinion about grown men playing video games. Maybe you can start a new thread about this terrible victimization of men. Right, that was always my understanding which is why I was asking the question of why she looks down at her screen every time she is answering a question. If you watch her testimony it truly looks like she is reading the screen. No need to be rude!
