Not normal. Those videos were made 8 years ago when he was freaking 32 years old. There is no chance I would tolerate that in my home. i’m pretty empathetic to jr for doing risky things in pursuit of paradise by the headlights.

i was discussing the case and my empathy for jr with a older friend. he boiled his thoughts down to “you go into another man’s bedroom to have relations with his wife. bad things can happen. ‘

i watched a bit of bbs youtube. i was struck by two things.

1 bb’s cadence was more normal than in trial.

2 i don’t mean this pejoratively to JR. As happenstance, Bb and jr seemed to have similar gaming interests.

Is it normal? Yes.
Is there something wrong with it? It depends. I wouldn’t want a guy like that. Specially if I’m a qualified nurse that has multiple jobs and work 12+ hours shifts. As a guy, he should be putting equal or more effort into making money than me. But that’s my opinion and the type of guy I would and did marry.

Now, judging him solely for playing vídeo games is the same thing as judging JR for enjoying said sexual activities.

His cadence in trial struck me as someone who was trying to be very careful about what he said. To me, fair or not, that makes someone sound guilty. You don’t have to concentrate so hard on what you’re saying when you’re telling the truth. He sounded like he was making sure he remembered the correct lines.
